Our Vision

Our vision is to welcome all people into the transforming embrace of Christ, to live under the compassionate, protective mantle of la Virgen de Guadalupe, and to flourish as a borderless Benedictine community by pursuing deep spiritual holiness and radical peace (Pax).

Our Mission

Our mission is to be a monastic community of priests, brothers, and sisters, consecrated by sacred vows to God and united as a dispersed family to one another. Relying on Christ in the Eucharist, an enduring devotion to Our Blessed Mother, la Virgen de Guadalupe, and deep, shared monastic charity, we seek to serve our world through a dedicated life of prayer, work, and study (Ora, Labora, et Legere).

Our Enduring Legacy

We continue the ancient legacy of joyful witness to the Church as an unshakeable Ark of refuge and sanctuary, sharing the gift of our inclusive Catholic Faith and providing a safe place to breathe (Iwigá) for everyone whose lives we touch.
